Sellers of fruit, pots, leatherware, sewing supplies, sausages in buns, you name it, there's a vendor, and plenty of people walking in all directions. And there to one side, an elderly lady, with a tray hanging from her shoulders, with various little bottles of coloured liquids on it.

[2024/03/30 17:37] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Katana, what makes you so sure she's involved?" Before glancing around and seeing the robed figures, groaning at the sight, one hand going to her spear and holding it as if it were a mere staff, but ready at hand.

[2024/03/30 17:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana: "So you deny any involvement with undead...?" and to you: "Look, I'm busy h... Oh. Ah. They're here for me, you stay out of this and they won't target you."

[2024/03/30 17:40] Sonja Bikergrrl: The three converge quickly, barging people aside. Under the robes you can see humanoid figures... if a bit... pallid. Are they undead? They don't look too healthy, somehow...
[2024/03/30 17:40] Sonja Bikergrrl: Old Mother Murderhobo: "Undead? What? For the last time... POTIONS! Now do you want to buy one, or not?"
[2024/03/30 17:41] Alicia Frakture: This whole thing seems suspect

[2024/03/30 17:43] ɗίηα ωíƖɗę ღ (kitten.venus): floats back down after not seeing anything to stay close with group
[2024/03/30 17:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: The three robed figures move literally as one. They flip their robes open and raise their right hands. You notice a lot of tubes, wire strands, and flashing lights. Also, they hold little tubes in their hands, and for a moment you can't imagine why this seems hostile. Then the tubes puff smoke and flares of force shoot out, straight at Katana. "Die, sedition scum," the three say - or was it just one? They all sound alike, and they all sound eereily emotionless.
[2024/03/30 17:47] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana is zapped, but the other two force darts fly wide. The people in the air scream in alarm and everyone tries to get away, two of them injured and lagging behind.
[2024/03/30 17:47] Sonja Bikergrrl: Now what?
[2024/03/30 17:49] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to check on the injured
[2024/03/30 17:50] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: which "them", the pale robed people or the crowd?

[2024/03/30 17:50] Sonja Bikergrrl: They're badly injured, and fleeing fast as they can.
[2024/03/30 17:50] Sonja Bikergrrl: The two injured... civilians? Peasants? People. By standers.

[2024/03/30 17:53] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: She rounds on one of them, pulling a spell component from her robes and incanting a sleep spell at one of them to try and get them to drop. Easier to explain if the guards make a fuss about this later.
[2024/03/30 17:53] Alicia Frakture: *Since this one has to run her errand in two minutes Leesha will be tending to any wounded*
[2024/03/30 17:55] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: (( She's checking for wakefulness, it seems ))
[2024/03/30 17:55] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay... Katana draws her sword. "Those were innocent bystanders!" She lunges at one wildly. Oh good. A 3.
[2024/03/30 17:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben starts casting a spell.. it is surprisingly ineffective. Only one slumps to the ground and doesn't move any more.
[2024/03/30 17:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: The other two shoot their force darts at Katana again
[2024/03/30 17:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: Shots go wide. One explodes a pot on a cart, the other hits a bystander some distance away.
[2024/03/30 17:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Get the city guards! Guards, guards!"
[2024/03/30 17:58] Sonja Bikergrrl: (we'll pause until Mecha returns)

[2024/03/30 18:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: The two attack Katana still. Luckily they're terrible shots, they even miss the bystanders.
[2024/03/30 18:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana hacks at one of the figures. And... just hits! The figure stumbles, grunting from the force of the blow.
[2024/03/30 18:45] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: So what does the force wand look like when I get hold of it?
[2024/03/30 18:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: Leesha glares at the enemies, so far Dahlia, only Katana is injured. And Debben has a moments' difficulty, but now has this force dart firing tube thing.
[2024/03/30 18:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: It looks like a hollow tube with an apparant grip, a finger guard and a stud or two.
[2024/03/30 18:46] Sonja Bikergrrl: Back to intentions, what now?
[2024/03/30 18:46] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going for a punch. She has her hands wrapped for this. "Take this somewhere else!"
[2024/03/30 18:47] Sonja Bikergrrl: okay... Debben, Dahlia?

[2024/03/30 19:10] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben reaches to the ground, pulls a puff of dust and rocks, and blows a Phantasmal Force into their faces to fill their vision full of buzzing hornets.

[2024/03/30 19:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: Now Katana is injured, and Leesha is hit... not badly... yet
[2024/03/30 19:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana takes a swipe.... finally a good solid hit. That guy crumbles and doesn't move again.
[2024/03/30 19:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben casts a spell at the standing enemy; who doesn't even flinch.
[2024/03/30 19:14] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia, d8 to heal Debben
[2024/03/30 19:15] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben lets herself get pulled away, glaring at the man but letting the guards try to take charge of this.
[2024/03/30 19:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: By now the square is starting to fill with guards in chain mail carrying pikes. The one that's still standing doesn't seem too fazed by this, and simply takes a punch at Katana.
[2024/03/30 19:16] Sonja Bikergrrl: Dahlia... d8 for the healing spell
[2024/03/30 19:18] Sonja Bikergrrl: and Debben is healed of all harm
[2024/03/30 19:18] Alicia Frakture: Leesha is going to focus on clearing a path for the guards. when they arrive her first words are."WE were shopping and those people attacked us!"
[2024/03/30 19:19] Sonja Bikergrrl: ...well, the punch missed by a mile, and about this time is when guards surround everyone. The figure just shrugs and says "You'll get nothing from me," and there's a small shower of sparks and smoke, and he collapses to the ground.
[2024/03/30 19:20] Sonja Bikergrrl: well... now it's massively late... we'll have to see what the guards say about all this tomorrow :)
